Mayor Paul Leon has proudly served the City of Ontario since 1998, dedicating over two decades to public service with unwavering commitment. First appointed to the City Council and later elected as Mayor in 2005, Paul has been re-elected by the people of Ontario multiple times, a true testament to the trust and confidence he’s earned. Under his leadership, Ontario has experienced thoughtful growth, strengthened community programs, and a continued focus on safety, opportunity, and economic development.

Beyond City Hall, Mayor Leon is deeply rooted in the community—not only as a longtime resident and U.S. Army veteran, but also as a Senior Pastor at Hope Chapel Church. His heart for service is reflected in thousands of volunteer hours given to youth, education, and local organizations. With a strong record of leadership across regional and city boards, Mayor Leon continues to champion solutions that uplift Ontario’s families and ensure a brighter future for all.
